I get such a kick out of how Stella decides to sleep sometimes.

She was dead asleep in both of these pictures. And when she sleeps like this is when she snores the loudest. Ha!

She’s not allowed in our bed, but we made an exception this morning since I was changing the sheets anyways, and she got some good snuggle time in with her daddy...

Good Stuff

-It feels so good to have our life back! Last night after I got home from work I made dinner, sat on the couch and read, then cleaned the kitchen and was in bed by 10. Those are huge strides for me, considering I lived in our office from the moment I got home from work until I'd go to bed at 12am, before our wedding.

-Speaking of reading, I'm currently reading "The Help" and I cannot put it down. I'm trying to get through it quickly (which hasn't been too hard, ha!) so I can go see the movie because I've been hearing nothing but good things about it. It feels wonderful to get back to reading again!

-I took five days off of work (three before the wedding and two days after). Upon my return to said workplace I was faced with the fact that my co-worker DID NOT cover for me at. all while I was out. To say I was angry on Wednesday when I got into the office and saw my in-box would be a complete understatement. I've always covered for her when she's been out. It's just what we're supposed to do. So I'll be having words with our boss about this - that's for sure.

-I'm wearing an outfit today that is super comfy, but I feel like a bum. I'm wearing jeans that are kind of ripped at the hem and a top that should probably be tucked in but I just don't wanna!

-This weekend we are staying home. PTL! We have to start going through stuff because we want to have a garage sale next month. Tomorrow night we're going to the drive-in for a double feature. And I have to make some returns/exchanges of our wedding gifts.

-I ordered an Erin Condren life planner and I cannot wait until I get it! It'll be so nice to get our life and bills organized and to get monthly meal plans in order.

-I hope you all have a great weekend and thank you so much for all the kind comments about my wedding post yesterday. Y'all are the best!

Our Wedding

Our wedding was amazing.

Our bridesmaids were beautiful.

Our groomsmen were handsome.

Our flower girl and ring bearer were cute as buttons!

My groom was oh-so-dashing.

And I was thoroughly pleased with my hair and makeup.

The brooch bouquet I made turned out better than I could’ve imagined.

And the bridesmaid bouquets turned out perfect.

 

It was on this day that I learned to embrace my womanly curves! :)

Our ceremony wasn’t perfect.

Our moms forgot to light the unity candles until the last minute.

Maygan accidentally dropped Kevin’s ring.

And Kevin jumped the gun and said his “I do” way too early. Ha!

But all of that made the ceremony that much more memorable and light-hearted. :)

The decorations in the reception hall all came together beautifully.

We’ve received a lot of compliments on how nice everything was.

Our DJ was da’ bomb diggity! He kept things moving right along and there was LOTS of dancing.

And there was LOTS of drinking.

My dad got so choked up during his Father of the Bride speech that he was unable to finish.

But I loved it just the same and it’s something I will always remember.

Our cake was beautiful and delicious!

It was so great to have all of our family and friends there to celebrate with us.

Our wedding was the best day of my life.
